Cleave Trio - June Showing
On Sunday at 3 pm, three dancers will show an in-process excerpt of Cleave Trio. This showing is an informal opportunity to witness the dancers & choreography, peek into the creative process, and support the continued growth of Cleave as a whole. As I feel and work my way through the creative process of this piece with collaboration from the dancers, my goal is an evening-length piece that explores human relationships, duality, and transformation. Inspiration for this piece comes from the poem “Cleave,” by David Whyte.
The showing this Sunday is free and open to the public. It will be at Murmurations Aerial Studio, 208 Flynn Avenue, Burlington, VT. Seating is limited. You can reserve your tickets here.

Showing up Imperfectly
If we are only taught to show up “knowing the answer,” then what are we left with when we don’t?

Developing a Witness Mindset
No matter where you sit politically or ideologically, you have likely felt the frenzied energy of action that our country has been experiencing since January 20th. So many people I have talked to are feeling overwhelmed. That’s not surprising. A new administration is wiping away the actions, resolutions, and protections that previous administrations have felt were required to run our democratic republic. In the last three weeks, this has been happening at a pace that no nervous system (no matter how evolved) could hold all the pieces together. This is a perfect time for a witnessing mindset to interrupt the dysregulation.
